Project Manager in sign manufacturing, Miami Lakes, USA (on-site, full-time)

We are looking for a full-time Project Manager to join our team in Miami, USA. The candidate must be self-motivated, work in a fast-paced office environment, and be a team player.

Responsibilities and duties:

• As a Project Manager you will be responsible for the overall planning, coordination and monitoring of all tasks and processes involved in the projects. This includes communication with the client, the coordination of designs and layouts, overviewing the production as well as the installation
• Calculating and helping prepare proposals for project-related requests for signage, mainly in the maritime industry (decorative, wayfinding, safety)
• Preparation of orders, which includes accepting of purchase orders, making sure all details are correct and taking the necessary steps to add the order to the production pipeline
• Initiate production in coordination with the client and arrange for timely delivery
• Organize and follow up on installations

Qualifications and skills:

• Several years of working experience as a project manager or similar role in the maritime or signage industry (or related fields)
• Ideally, experience in accomplishing turn-key interior projects onboard cruise vessels or other working experience with cruise lines
• Experience in sales in the sign or maritime industry preferred
• Strong organizational skills, ability to work independently and team player
• Flexible and adaptive work attitude for fast-paced work environment
• Excellent customer-service orientated mind-set with constant communication
• Good verbal and written communication in English; German is a plus
• Microsoft office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), QuickBooks a plus
• You must be authorized to work in the United States and able to travel outside the USA (up to 10%)
